Rash is one of the common conditions encountered in clinical practice. Differential diagnosis of diseases presenting with rash can be broad and, at times, challenging. Rash can be a manifestation of serious underlying medical condition, which may be acute life-threatening systemic infections requiring immediate recognition and treatment. While other conditions may be mild, they may require early recognition to avoid transmission to others.
