How to Move More | 10 tips in 5 minutes!

We have just completed diabetes this week in medical school. It is well known that lack of movement or physical inactivity is ONE of the key variables contributing towards the rapid increase in the prevalence/incidence of diabetes mellitus.

It is well documented that longer aerobic and intense resistance training will help, but there is this mistaken notion that some little bit of movement sprinkled into your day is not particularly helpful. That is ABSOLUTELY false!

But how to move more? How to incorporate movement into your day and move more? In this video I am going to share 10 tips in five minutes or less to help you answer the question how to move more. There is research coming out of the Mayo Clinic showing that moving more may be more important to reducing obesity and diabetes mellitus than just going to the gym and working out. Although don’t stop that if you are already doing that, but use these tips on how to move more to sprinkle in as much movement into your day as you can.
