Nataly’s Corner in the #smoothjazz zone featuring the music of lovely jazz and classical flutist Kim Scott. I am truly honored when an artist takes notice to the fact that there is a video out on Youtube with their music and reaches out to the Fan who made it. Kim Scott is a very approachable and gifted artist producing some amazing jazz sounds with her flute. It gives me pleasure to share her music with others…not just because her music is beautiful but also because I like to see female artist excel in the smooth jazz music business. There are female musicians playing just about every instrument. Some would say that being a flutist doesn’t afford competitiveness in the smooth jazz genre…but those obviously are the folks who haven’t’ listened to Kim Scott’s music. “Rite of Passage” is her sophomore CD which was released in 2013.
