World TV Day 2020 - Official video

Each year, a short clip is created by egta, ACT and The Global TV Group to promote the power of television and its value to today's society. The three associations are asking their members (broadcasters all over Europe) to show this clip on TV on the 21st of November, to celebrate television. In 1996, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed November 21 as World Television Day, “in recognition of the increasing impact television has on decision-making by alerting world attention to conflicts and threats to peace and security and its potential role in sharpening the focus on other major issues, including economic and social issues.”
