Humphrey Lyttelton and his Band 1955 The Fish Seller: recorded on 24 March 1955 and released 1955 "Jazz With Lyttleton (No. 1)" the first of a series of Jazz Albums. Another lovely Bechet composition so many of them peformed by Humph this one composed in 1952. The Title of this in French is much more impressive, at least to the English speaking ear - did you ever hear and ear ... oh forget it :-) Francais: "Marchand de Poissons" doesn't sound anything like The Fish Seller. A lovely tune preserved for our pleasure by Humph and his Band.
