Conte Pastel Pencil Art Work Bird

When I complete a review I always try my best to provide some sort of art wort to help demonstrate the product I have just reviewed. In this case I have reviewed the Conté à Paris Pastel Pencils and I hope this speed drawing will help you get a better idea as to the quality of the Pastel pencils.

For this particular art piece I completed the art work on Clariefontaine Pastelmat, for the background I used Unison Pastel blocks. You can use pastel pencils for backgrounds, however is is generally considered a better idea to use blocks on larger pieces. I used the Conte Pastel Pencils of course on the actual art work, however I was without a few colors so check out the review to find out why I was without certain pencils and how I managed without them.
