A tribute to the legendary film composer, Ennio Morricone (1928 - 2020)
Cello and I spent two summers playing Morricone themes at least twice a week during our Lincoln Center Stage Contract; we got to know "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" so well as well as the themes from "Cinema Paradiso". There's no denying that Morricone was a genius who wrote some of the most iconic and romantic music of all time. Here is our arrangement of one of his gems, "Romanza Quartiere". I hope everyone's doing okay these days. 2020 has been an unforgiving year, but there is a post-pandemic future to look forward to!
