59 Year Old Woman Kicked Out of Family Home.

Vanlife and living a nomad existence is often glamorized by You Tube creators. So often we see the shot of a van parked on a beach with the back doors flung open taking in the sand and surf. Meanwhile a beautiful young couple is frolicking in the water, smiles aglow. They run back to their van collapsing in glee at their life of freedom in anticipation of their next amazing adventure. Well, sadly that is not the story for so many who find themselves living in a vehicle, particularly now. There is another side to mobile living, one not often told. The subjects of theses stories are often older women who have been displaced due to divorce, rising rents, a lack of retirement plans, and now employment displacement due to Covid. This video tells the story of one of these older women that doesn't include beach shots and frolicking in the sand. This is the story of how sometimes it is necessary to grind out an existence hoping to get back up to provide the basic necessities of life like food and shelter. In this nomad story a hot meal is a luxury. I am going to try to follow Francisca's.story and bring you occasional updates on how she is doing. Thank You for watching.
