🔹The good news is all about God’s Son

Romans 1:2 NLT
2 God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures.

3 The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David’s family line,

4 and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

“For the gospel is all about God’s Son. As a man he descended from David’s royal lineage, but as the mighty Son of God he was raised from the dead and miraculously set apart with a display of triumphant power supplied by the Spirit of Holiness. And now Jesus is our Lord and our Messiah.”

Belief in Jesus as the Son of God is the main reason for sharing the Gospel with others. When they hear that Jesus actually lived, died, and rose again, they receive FAITH to be born again. The apostle Paul traveled many places to share this good news, but we can begin by sharing it with those around us. We became Christians because someone shared it with us.

🔹The good news is the power of God at work in us. It produces salvation for every part of our being.

Paul the Apostle said,
Romans 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance…

The good news that Jesus has delivered us from sin and darkness works in us to change us from living our old life to living in a new way. We learn to think and act according to what the scriptures teach. We also learn to follow the example of Jesus in His earthly life. Learning more about what Jesus taught and lived out helps us to trust God and have confidence in Him each day.

🔹The good news produces spiritual fruit

Romans 1:13 NLT
13 I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to visit you, but I was prevented until now. 🍎 I want to work among you and see spiritual FRUIT, just as I have seen among other Gentiles. 🍎

““But what was sown on good, rich soil represents the one who hears and fully embraces the message of the kingdom. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much as was sown.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

💗Our hearts are good soil when we trust in God and love Him by doing what pleases Him. Our lives will bear the good fruit of peace, joy, and kindness.

John 15:16 AMPC
You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name, He may give it to you.

We will also bear fruit by our prayers being answered!
