Slipknot - If Rain Is What You Want (Guitars and Bass)

Back to drop somewhere he. I was playing around with some amp sims, testing tones and tried playing this mid section riff... Sounded so well that I needed to make the full song. (Same story as ever I guess)

But this time I tested how it sound by adding more guitar layers to the mix, some kind of pre-wall of sound-esque thing. It gives a lot of power. At this point I'm beggining to understand some basics of recording and mixing.

I like the speedy, full-on Slipknot songs a lot, but these ones, slow, with lots and lots of feel are my favourites. I felt in love immediatly after listening Ir rain... for the first time. Coming from themes as Vermillion, Iowa or Snuff, it was hard to think of something more intense without reaching the Stonesour side.
