Alright, let me explain this AU.

Inko Midoriya hates quirks because she was jealous of her mom, Nana Shimura, who died in a fight with All For One (who she doesn’t know is her husband), and Nana seemed to get along well with Hisashi. Inko despised quirks, therefore was happy Izuku didn’t get one, but was also annoyed that he always asked to see quirks. Hisashi said his quirk wasn’t working lately, which it actually wasn’t working, and that made Izuku sad.

Hisashi didn’t exactly die, but one of his quirks malfunctioned and made him loose his identity, turning him into the destroyed being we all know. He faked his death and left his belongings to Izuku, who followed orders and dumped his father’s body in their favorite lake, where Hisashi could easily get out of once regenerated enough to move.

Izuku carried on with his life, still missing his dad and all, but he began getting closer to All Might. Neither Izuku nor Toshinori knew Izuku was related to both Nana Shimura, the previous symbol of peace, and All For One, the greatest villain, as well as Tomura Shigaraki, his cousin who was soon adopted by Hisashi (All For One), making the two technically step-brothers (?).
