VI. SERMON: The death of someone is never easy. But gathered here today we can show our love and concern for each other. Today we can share memories of ________________ and we can look into Gods Word for the Comfort and Guidance we need.

Now that ______________ is gone, you may be asking yourself …. What now? What do I do? Let me urge you to stand on 4 Eternal Truths from Gods Word.

1. STAND ON THE TRUTH THAT GOD IS GOOD

· PS 33:5 The earth is full of the Goodness of The Lord

· PS 34:8 O Taste and see that the Lord is GOOD

· James 1:17 Every Good and Perfect Gift is From Above

A. You say: Chaplain Reece if God is so Good, why is there so much Evil, Pain and Suffering in the world?

B. That’s Because John 10:10 says The thief cometh not but for to steal, to Kill and destroy

C. But thank God Jesus said, but I am come that ye might have life and have it more abundantly.

2. STAND ON THE TRUTH THAT GOD LOVES YOU

· John 3:16 says .. For God So Loved the World that….

· Romans 5:8 .. For God Commendeth His Love

· 1 John 4:8 simply says… God is Love

A. When Something Terrible happens its easy to say.. God doesn’t love me.

B. But He does Love you and wants to know you. He proved this by sending His Son Jesus.

C. Life Can be Extremely Hard but stand on the Truth That GOD LOVES YOU.

3. STAND ON THE TRUTH THAT GOD CAN HELP YOU

· 2COR 1:3 Blessed be God, Even the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of Mercies and the God of all COMFORT.

· 1PETER 5:17 says Casting all your care upon Him

· Mat 11:28 Jesus Said : Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you REST.

· PS 121:1,2 Says, I will lift up Mine Eyes unto the Hills from whence cometh my HELP, my help come

A. STAND ON THE TRUTH THAT GOD CAN HELP YOU

4. STAND ON THE TRUTH THAT GOD HAS A PLAN

· GOD Had a Plan for _____________’s life.

· We are all still here right now living breathing
