Cassadó Masterclass: Suite for Solo Cello, first movement - Musings with Inbal Segev

Hello Cellists,

Today’s masterclass is on the first movement from Gaspar Cassadó’s Suite for Solo Cello, which is influenced by his composition teacher, Maurice Ravel. We’ll go through exercises to internalize the meter, the thematic structure of the piece, practicing harmonics with care, and managing quintuplets (and 11-tuplets).
