Welcome back to Athlete Central, in today's video we are featuring Israel "The Last Stylebender" Adesanya. He is the UFC middleweight champion and has made quite a name for himself mowing down his opponent in his weight class.

He recently went up to light heavyweight to try and become a 2 weight division champ and join the likes of GSP, Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier, Henry Cejudo, and Amanda Nunes. Unfortunately, he suffered a loss to Jan Blachowicz who came up with a great gameplan that played to his strengths and weight advantage. This goes to show that it is really tough to be champ at 2 weight divisions. The 4 that have done it are real special athletes.

Israel is still regarded as one of the best fighters to ever step foot in the Octagon and in his short time in the UFC he has amassed a big chunk of change. How does he spend his millions and what does the Champ fancy when he is not in the Octagon. Just to give you a taste when Israel debuted at UFC 221 against Rob Wilkinson he earned $50K to show and also got a win bonus of $50K. He has since gone on to add the performance of the night bonuses and his show and win numbers have gone up from there. Israel also has sponsorships with Reebok and Puma.
