The Left believes the ‘coronavirus is a deeply racist’ pathogen: Katie Hopkins

The Left in the UK is bringing racism and identity politics into the COVID-19 pandemic, according to media commentator Katie Hopkins.

At least 31,587 people have died from COVID-19 in the UK since the pandemic began in earnest four months ago.

However, the Office of National Statistics found that black people are more than four times more likely to die from Covid-19 than white people.

Ms Hopkins told Sky News ever since those figures were released, the Left wanted the public to believe the disease is "deeply racist".

She said a recent a viral poem, ‘You Clap for Me’, is indicative of this phenomenon.

"There are hundred different layers of menace going around with this coronavirus,” Ms Hopkins said.

"The premise is, and we are certainly all supposed to believe it, that coronavirus is a deeply racist virus and white people should be thrown onto the frontlines to protect our betters and our black and minority ethnic (BAME) population who lives amongst us.”
