In this video we pack our bags and head on a five hour mountain hike to find snow! We've got our snowboards, boots and snowshoes strapped to our bags for this hike. The goal of the day is to hike far enough into the snow so we can get some good lines coming back down on our snowboards! The first few ours we spend hiking on narrow paths an climbing over fallen trees and debris on the trail. When the snow got deep enough we put on our snowboard boots and snow shoes to help us maneuver the snowy trail. I ran into a problem with my snowboard boots and had to cut through a faulty lace. The weather took a severe turn causing us to strap on our snowboards a bit earlier than we wanted. We also made friends with a bird on the way, who followed us into the alpine meadows. The snowboard down was extremely fun and difficult at the same time. It's very rewarding when the long hike pays off with fun snowboarding on the way down! Give this vlog a thumbs up to see more!
