How to replace the wiper linkage/transmission on your Audi A4 B6

How to repair your Wiper linkage or transmission on your B6 Audi A4. These seem to wear out on just about all of them sooner or later. There are a few good write ups out there on different forums, but I could not find a video on the repair. As always, this a repair that pretty much anyone can tackle by themselves and save a few hundred that way. It takes some fiddling and patience, but it's pretty simple and straight forward. As always....disconnect your battery cable before doing this :)
