The Crew Motorfest - 28 Player Grand Race PvP Gameplay (Street Tier 1, Hypercar, Rally Raid)

The closed beta of The Crew Motorfest is over and we were not only able to try out some of the single player content of the upcoming game but also the new Grand Race PvP mode, where you have races with 28 players using 3 different vehicles. Here you can see a bunch of close races featuring the Street Race Tier 1, Hypercar and Rally Raid disciplines.

Grand Races take place on procedurally generated tracks that are around 8 minutes long and you switch to a different vehicle at special checkpoints, just like in the Live Extreme Series events in The Crew 2. People who start at the back of the grid start with a bit more nitrous than people who start at the front.

In The Crew Motorfest the Street Race discipline has been split up into Tier 1 and Tier 2, with Tier 1 cars having a lower maximum car level. This essentially creates a new discipline, which is a slower version of Street Race, which can actually be quite fun to race with.

I did around 25 Grand Races during the closed beta and here you can see 3 of the more interesting ones, where I was involved in a battle for rank 1 until the very end.
