Exploring Bram Stokers Inspiration for Dracula's Castle During Storm Debi.

I produced this short video to try and capture a little of the atmosphere at Slains Castle, Cruden Bay, Scotland, during storm Debi. Bram Stoker regularly stayed in Cruden Bay while writing his book Dracula and the distinctive Octagonal Hall here is said to match that of an octagonal room in Castle Dracula.

The castle during the storm certainly played up to its gothic reputation, all we needed was a few claps of thunder!

Apologies for the sound quality in places. The wind and rain on the mic’s caused some distortion at times.

Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video. If you did please like/subscribe/comment, it genuinely means a lot to me.
