Is the Macbook Anker PowerExpand 7-in-2 USB C Worth $60?!

Anker 7-in-2 for the Macbook is quite possibly the cleanest looking dongle out there. In this review and unboxing, we take a look at the build quality, different ports, and we ask the question, "Is the Anker 7-in-2 really worth $60?"

I bought this product specifically for my new Macbook Pro. According to their Amazon page, this dongle is compatible with the 2020/2019/2018 Macbook Air and the 2019/2018/2017/2016 Macbook Pro.

The ports it supports are the following: HDMI, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.0 (x2), USB-C, microSD, and SD card.

Anker claims that they support data transfer up to 40 Gbps and a media display of up to 5K @ 60Hz. I did not test this.
