WINTER IN MONTREAL // EPIC SNOW STORM

March 16th 2017...

Overnight Montreal got hit by storm Stella. over 35cm / 13.5 inches of snow fell, mixed with 70-100 mph winds.

Flights were cancelled, schools were closed and Micha could not physically leave the house in the early hours of the morning. There were no visible paths and cars were completely buried.

For a city that is not shy when it comes to snow, this storm really took Montreal by surprise (especially after a week of sunshine).

There was no way to prepare for storm Stella...well maybe go to the store and buy the biggest shovel you could get your hands on OR to have booked a flight to the Caribbean when you had the chance.

Anyways, all this talk of Stella us got us thirsty..
