Technology
The technology that lie behind this products is very simple.
Compressed products in 100% Viscose, are achieved through a simple cold compression, without the use of dehydration or glue or any chemicals agent.
A particular folding and rolling process is performed on the garment before compression.
The plastic film outside the compressed item is needed only to hold the paper disk with brand and information, it does not retain the product shape. Once removed it remain in the same shape and dimensions.
Compressed products in viscose, are often, to be cheaper, they have no plastic film or protective materials.
The Cotton compression process is patented.

Materials
Basically Napkin® products are made of two materials: 100% Viscose and 100% Rayon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayon), that is a techno fiber obtained from Bamboo cellulose.
The viscose products needs water to be opened and are single-use products (disposable).
This products are compostable and 100% biodegradable. The viscose ph is completely neutral.
All Napkin® products never expire (no shelf life).
Inside theirs boxes and bags, this products are not subjected to humidity alterations or other related problems.

Certifications
Through employ of high quality raw materials from Lenzing® Group (Lenzing Viscose®), Napkin® achieved OEKO-TEX 100 Class 1 certification, this means that the product is safe on skin, on mouth, even of a baby (Class 1 certificates), not releasing any harmful substances or pigments.

Other competitive products, use general purpose raw materials, not designed for personal care, but just for house cleaning (glasses, floors..).
The Oeko-Tex 100 standard, require lot nr. tracking, so every box has an handwritten lot nr. (others don't).

Design
The design of Napkin® products is 100% Italian. A team of designers managed directly from company owners, continuously works for developing new products and concepts.
Many of this design are registered and represent an intellectual property of Chic Trading Srl.
Also for many items there are 3D trade marks registered.
Other producers have only compressed tissues, in 2/3 package and nothing else, Napkin® has a broad and evolving range of accessories & perfumes. This marks another difference with all others competitors.

Formats
Napkin® tablets, once opened are 24x25cm (9,44x9,84") the biggest in the world. Made with soft 50GSM (grams for square meter) pure Lenzing® Viscose®.
Others use smaller size cloth, sometimes lighter (40GSM) and not certified for personal care.
