Sprats shoaling at Ullapool Harbour

Huge numbers of sprays came into Ullapool on 13th July 2012. All along coast and into the pier. Mackeral came in after them to herd tham against beach and harbour wall, gulls picked them off from shore, seals came in after the mackeral! Was like Blue Planet episode before our eyes. Heaps of people caught loads of fish off the pier and beach - some kids were getting sore arms from the amount of fish! Another sign of the good weather we've been having and nature getting a chance this year.
