Raising a Successful Child: Focusing on Both Strengths of the head and Strengths of the Heart
Professor Steven Pfeiffer shares with you how you can better develop your child's academic and social abilities. The talk draws on Professor Pfeiffer's latest book, "Serving the gifted: Evidence-based clinical and psycho-educational practice", which will be published later this year.
Professor Pfeiffer was the Executive Director of Duke University's internationally-renowned gifted programme. He is a noted authority on the psychology of giftedness, and how parents can help their children develop into successful and psychologically-healthy adults. He currently holds the appointment of Professor at the Department of Educational Psychology & Learning Systems at Florida State University, U.S.A, and was in Singapore on sabbatical with the National Institute of Education.
