Flying through THE WORST thunderstorm of my LIFE

I flew home after graduating from Ramp training for my new job, and we flew through the worst thunderstorm of my life. You can even see a power flash when we line up on Runway 35L, I could've sworn their was a tornado with the amount of wind their was hitting our Boeing 737-823. We flew American Airlines 1446 out of Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) back home to Tulsa (TUL). We also have been hit by lightning twice, and possibly more times according to one of the crew members aboard as multiple passengers claim to see lightning strike the nose, left (#1) side winglet, and tail.
