A career spanning seven decades he’s played wizards, kings and even superheroes - now Sir Ian McKellen stars as Shakespeare’s most famous Prince. As his film adaptation of Hamlet gets a home release we talk to Sir Ian about a life spent in the limelight alongside the most famous names in the world.  He’ll also reveal why he turned down the chance to work with Tom Cruise and how he still gets mistaken for the late great Michael Gambon.
