After 8 years of waiting and a literal "miracle" rescue from cancellation, Hytale is officially launching on January 13, 2026!

What you need to know:

The Comeback: After Riot Games cancelled the project in 2025, the original founders bought the game back and moved it to the original "Legacy Engine" just to get it into our hands!

Early Access: This is a "true" early access. The devs have been honest—it’s going to be buggy and a bit "messy" at first, but they are building it alongside us.

Pricing: I grabbed the **Standard Edition for $20**, but there is also a Supporter Edition ($35) and a Cursebreaker Founder’s Pack ($70) if you want those exclusive capes and cosmetics!

The Gameplay: It’s a massive sandbox world that blends Minecraft-style creativity with deep RPG mechanics, questing, and built-in modding tools from Day 1.
