How to Actually Be Here Now | Nishanth Selvalingam | TEDxISKL
A wanderer on the path of Life and wanna-be hippie, Nishanth Selvalingam (Nish the Fish) spends long periods of time lurking around bookstores and sitting under trees. In his hilarious talk, peppered with puns and witticisms, Nish challenges us to stop thinking about tomorrow and live in the moment.
A wanderer on the path of Life and wanna-be hippie, Nish the Fish spends long periods of time lurking around bookstores and sitting under trees. His favourite things are green tea, John Keats, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and rain. During his senior year of high school, Nish was deeply jaded by the tepid education he was receiving in public school so he stopped going to ‘institutions of learning’ and spent the next one year out of school, traveling South East Asia, debating and trying to make it as a musician. He is now giving high school another try with ISKL and is excited to share everything that he has learned along his travels.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
