Jellyfish in the San Joaquin River - Sept. 6, 2014

I would love to share this with you. We out on the Delta for a boating trip and all of a sudden we saw something swimming around in the water….

It is Jellyfish in the river…. Afterwards I Google it and found out that Jellyfish has no brain, eyes, ears, or a heart and no bones. The main part is called the bell. The animal's mouth is in the middle of the underside of its body and it only feeds on small prey it can catch near the surface, such as fish eggs and plankton.

They were so graceful, mysterious and fascinating to watch!!!=)
