Arianism what is it and who are they?
Arianism was coined in the 4th century to describe Christians of that time who agreed doctrinally with a man by the name of Arius; who opposed the Catholic Church from developing the Trinity doctrine. The doctrine of Arianism existed long before the council of Nicea in 325 CE and can be see in Church Fathers like Ignatius of Antioch and Justin Martyr. Arians today can be found around the world, and come from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We are unified in the understanding that The Father is the Only True GOD and that Jesus is his Son who was born before the worlds were created.
