Bluefin Tuna Fishing San Diego - Using $1000 REEL (Shimano Stella SW)

Bluefin tuna fishing off the coast of southern California. These two bloodydecks members were using a reel retailed at $1000! (Shimano Stella SW 1400). These two anglers took a total of 20 min to fight the bluefin while utilizing a tag team dual technique. Not really common , however deemed to be highly effective. While most anglers would have the benefit of "railing the fish", they instead traded off the rod , as soon as one needed a quick rest. Utilizing the reel's max drag setting (55lbs) they are able to crank their bluefin tuna with this technique.
