My refrigerator was showing the er DH code on my Kenmore, LG Refrigerator (model 795.70333.410) The manual says that "Er dH' is "Failure of defrost mode: When defrost sensor doesn't reach 46 degrees within 1 hours after starting defrost". In this video I show how to get access to the defroster and cooling coils through the freezer. What I found was my coils were completely frozen over. I defrosted them and that cleared the code. However, I also discuss how to replace your defrost sensor (part number 6615jb2005h) and defrost heater in this particular model.
