Pursuit Of Burglary Suspects, Tons Of Weed Found In Car

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-20-23 | Approx 2:30 a.m.
LOCATION: Washington & 3rd Ave
CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

CHP joined a pursuit of 459 & vandalism suspects coming out of orange county
The suspects drove north on the 5 at 115 mph
Eventually the suspects took the 10 west and exited at western
The suspects bailed on foot in the area of Washington & 3rd Ave
The suspects fled on foot and attempted to hide in the yards of houses
One suspect was taken into custody near 5th ave & 21st
The second tried hiding on top of a garage and was taken into custody
A very large amount of marijuana was found inside of the vehicle
The marijuana is believed to have been stolen from a residence in the city of Orange
