The Biggest Living Arthropod

Today we'll be taking another look at ROV encounters with a favorite creature of mine: Macrocheira kaempferi, the Japanese giant spider crab. With a whopping legspan of 12ft / 3.7m and a lifespan of up to a century to match, these extraordinary animals may look creepy at first but are actually gentle giants.
