How does E-Rupi work? | The Money Show

Here is another feat achieved by Indian government. PM Modi today further extended the UPI services and launched a Digial payments e-voucher system – e-Rupi, a cashless and contactless digital payments medium that doesn't necessitate the need to have a bank. The platform has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the National Health Authority, will be a person-specific and purpose-specific payments system.
