Air India flight AI2651, an Airbus A321neo operating from Delhi to Bangalore with 179 people onboard, suffered a tail strike while performing a go-around at Bengaluru Airport. The crew reportedly initiated the missed approach after encountering wake turbulence during landing on runway 27L. Despite the dramatic runway contact, the aircraft safely climbed away and landed successfully about 15 minutes later with no injuries reported.

The aircraft, registered VT-TVF, remained grounded in Bangalore following the incident as inspections and technical checks were carried out. The return flight was later cancelled.
