The CrossFit is one of only two class B vans built on the Ford Transit chassis. It competes with the Paseo by Winnebago and that's it. The stock CrossFit comes with the 3.7L V6 Ford Transit 350HD gas chassis that delivers 275hp and 260 lbs-feet of torque but you can upgrade to the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost turbo gas engine which ups performance to 310hp and 400 lbs-ft. of torque. So the EcoBoost engine is the highest horsepower and torque gas engine that you can get in the class B market today. Additionally, Coachmen has upgraded the chassis to the highest gross vehicle weight rating, the 350 HD which means you also get dually rear wheels which isn't available on any other gas chassis. And Coachmen has also opted for the extended length Transit chassis which means that the CrossFit clocks in at 22' 2" so it's definitely at the longer end of class b vans. You'll need to take up two standard parking spaces with this coach.
Good news: This is kind of a 4 season coach. All the water lines are plumbed internally and the fresh water tank is located on the inside of the coach as well so you won't have to worry about freezing water lines in moderately low temperatures as long as the coach is heated. However, heating pads for your grey and black water tanks are not offered so you'd have to install those aftermarket yourself.
On the inside you get two layout options: a rear sofa bed/lounge or a rear twin bed configuration. In both configurations your galley is along the passenger side and your bathroom midsection along the drivers side. The galley has everything you need including a compressor refrigerator, normal microwave (not convection), a 2 burner propane or induction stove and a sink. The induction cooktop is standard but you can opt to go with the propane stove if you want . The bathroom is a 3 piece wetbath which means the shower,toilet and sink share the same space. A pedestal table can be setup in the back. And in the sofa/bed configuration the sofa electrically reclines to convert your lounge into a bedroom. Up front the two cab seats swivel around but there is no pedestal table to put between them. You have 2 interior wood decor options: fog and natural maple.
As far as the exterior detailing: Coachmen has opted for dark tinted, automotive type windows which when combined with almost no exterior graphics give the CrossFit a clean, automotive look. There are two exterior color options available: Magnetic and Blue Jeans.
The CrossFit comes with a host of standard features including a 2.8kw gas generator, rear and side screen doors, the Super Spring upgraded suspension system by Sumo, 100w of solar, multiplex wiring with mobile app controls. The biggest upgrade you can get however is to the electrical system. You can now opt for the very capable 600ah (7,200wh) Li3 lithium battery system powered by Xantrex. This option was previously only available on the Galleria model but Coachmen recently announced its availability on the CrossFit.
The CrossFit comes with a 1 year 12,000 mile coach warranty and 1 year of roadside assistance. And far as price the MSRP for the base model CrossFit is $123k but as of the date of this video I've seen dealer advertised prices for an upgraded CrossFit with the EcoBoost engine and 200w of solar for $95k.
