"Three days in New York with James Brown" by photographer Solange Podell

This footage includes never seen before snapshots of James Brown
They were taken in New York in 1968 when my friend the French photographer Solange Podell was asked by an agency to go and follow Brown. She rubbed shoulders with him on the streets, on a TV show and attended a concert at the Yankee Stadium.
She was one of the rare white person in a. crowd of 40,000 people. James Brown was very attentive to her. My dear friend Solange gave me the contact sheets, hence the idea for me to compile them in a video (some of them have never been seen, there are others for next time...)
