Suzuki GSX250 Engine Restoration | Installing Slipper Clutch & Custom Forged Piston

In this episode, we are doing a complete teardown and heavy modification of a Suzuki GSX250 engine! The owner uses this bike for Gymkhana and wanted more power, so we are pushing its limits.

Watch the full disassembly as we find the main culprit behind a worn-out second gear bearing—a drive chain that was adjusted way too tight! After checking the wear on the previous 300cc forged piston, we move on to the ultimate upgrade:

Installing a DL300 crankshaft with a 57.8mm stroke (Stock is 55.2mm).

Swapping in a DL300 balancer shaft with larger counterweights to eliminate vibrations.

Installing a custom 61mm forged piston to achieve a massive 337.8cc displacement.

Fitting an aftermarket slipper clutch, polishing/enlarging intake and exhaust ports, and upgrading to a high-lift, high-angle race camshaft.

Tuning the fuel maps with a piggyback ECU.

Stay tuned for the next episode where we show the full engine assembly process! If you enjoy mechanical restoration and motorcycle tuning, don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, and FOLLOW for more!
