Grinding Gear Games dropped two uniques and a new endgame crafting base today. The uniques are powerful build-around endgame options. Can they compete with rare items? That'll be interesting to discover.

The Nightfall unique shield allows you to play a 'Captain America' power fantasy in POE2 - middling level defenses but a potent shield throw effect and a devastating "teleport to the shield and slam the ground" effect. Its cooldown mechanics are very build-around.

The Redemption crossbow is unique and cool. It's probably the weaker of the two, but it definitely has ... explosive... power.
