The last big changes for the GT-R (aka Godzilla) supercar came in 2017, with exterior and interior refreshing and 20 additional horsepower. Last year saw the addition of Apple CarPlay and a new black "Kuro Night" colour for the Premium Interior Package. The GT-R Track Edition, now in its third year of limited availability, is designed to deliver a higher level of performance than the GT-R Premium models. It features competition-quality gear, including Nismo wheels, a Nismo tuned suspension and special body bonding. On the outside, it features a dry carbon-fibre rear spoiler providing downforce. Premium and Track Edition models are equipped with an advanced 3.8-litre DOHC V6 rated at 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque, plus dual-clutch sequential six-speed transmission and an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system. For 2020, the Track Edition gets a performance bump to 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque. Other changes include new turbochargers and a race-inspired exhaust manifold designed for easier servicing and potential tuning.
