Our First Passover After Discovering Our Jewish Roots 🕯️🤝 🕊️

This year, we celebrated our very first Passover at home… and it became something much deeper than we expected ✨
In this video, I invite you into our home as we explore the meaning of Passover (Pessach) for the first time after discovering our Jewish heritage. We begin with a joyful moment (yes, a little dance 💃), and then sit down together to talk, reflect, and learn.
I explain the meaning behind the Seder (which means “order”) and walk you through the Haggadah — the guide used to retell the story of liberation. We also explore the symbolic foods on the Passover plate, like the bitter herbs (representing suffering) and the sweet elements (representing hope and renewal).
This celebration is also about connection. In our home, we honor and respect many spiritual paths. I share some of our sacred books — including the Torah, the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita — and reflect on family history, ancestry, and the stories of women in my lineage who carried deep spiritual roots.
This is not just a religious video. It’s about identity, curiosity, tradition, and the beauty of learning from one another.
💛 Whether you celebrate Passover, Easter, another tradition, or nothing at all — you are welcome here.

And if you don’t celebrate — I wish you a beautiful day 🌿
