Bailout Plate Strength Test Video Part 1
This video is a simple review of how my invention, The Bailout Plate, handles my simple stress tests. The goal of this video is just to get a general idea of the strength, flexibility, and scratch resistance of the plates.
The plates are 3D printed as one piece out of IC3D’s recycled PETG filament. They’re printed between 215 and 235°C with two outer edge shell layers and 3 top and bottom layers. The plate’s have an infill density of 80%.
Typically, the Bailout Plates sold to customers are coated in truck bed liner to reduce any scratching and to give their face a finished, rugged look. For these tests, the 4 plates used are all defect plates without any truck bed liner.
