Sara Mijares Del Fium '03, My Journey from LMU Student to Controller

The Paul A. Grosch Lecture Series welcomed accounting alumna Sara Mijares Del Fium '03, vice president and controller for SoCalGas. Prior to joining SoCalGas in 2020, Sara held various roles at PwC that included time in Los Angeles, London and Mexico. She is a CPA and serves on the Board of Regents and Board of the Latino Alumni Association at LMU. A first-gen student, Sara discussed her career journey from the bluff to controller at the nation's largest natural gas distribution utility, and shared tips, advice and lessons she's learned along the way.
