NEW Belt Drive TESTING on AKILL SPIKES POV Traxxas XRT 8S

Welcome back to the channel everyone, in this video I will be testing the new belt drive system. It is like comparing mod 1 gears to mod 1.5 gears. When I did run gears I always liked the mod 1 because they seem more quiet and just less resistance. So I have decided to try out the 3m belt setup and here is its first run. I think I like them more than the 5m belt setups. We will have to keep testing to find out. The motor on this truck is the castle creations 1721 1260kv. I have it mounted to one of my Pnwrcmadness 25mm Motor mounts. It had to be modified, but it works great.
