Gehrig addresses the crowd and says that he considers himself the luckiest man on the face of the earth and he thanks for the honor received from all fans. His Yankee teammates and their opponents that day, the Washington Senators, are lined up on the infield grass. Babe Ruth gives presentations and remarks. Lou stands beside him.
