1979 Volkswagon Super Beetle Convertible. # 1592017621. Triple white bug. Very straight and clean. The convertible top is very good both on top and the underside. I have driven it over 100 miles so far and it runs and drives well. 108,000 miles. Michelin tires with lots of tread remaining. 80%. Joe at Old School Garage, did the service and safety check for us. When checking it over Joe found a bad alternator pulley and replaced the points and condenser. Joe did a compression check and found one of the cylinders was a little lower than the rest. I asked him if we should pull that cylinder and his recommendation was to leave it as it is ??????? It popped out of 3rd gear for me so we took it in and got the transmission rebuilt. The underside is very solid. Everything works but the radio. Should make a very good car for someone. Cond. # 3.
