Devastating News ~ Butchering One of Our Own

We woke up to some sad news. One of our heifers had fallen and broken her leg. She we unable to get up on her own and was in a lot of pain.The farmer said the best thing to do was to put her down so she wouldn't suffer any longer.Since most of her meat was still good, we decided to butcher her.
