WE WENT HIKING IN A RAVINE! 🇸🇪

We went hiking into Fiskhålsgraven and Evagraven located in Messlingen, outside of Funäsdalen.

Fiskehålsgraven's breathtaking history is 10,000 years old. It cuts through the south-eastern edge of the mountain plateau Flatruet and its flowing water forms a string of pearls with small tarns. Here is the isolated and protected strain of dwarf sedge that has survived in one of the ponds since the end of the ice age.

Evagraven is 800 meters long, 25 meters wide and 15 meters deep and was formed when the ice sheet melted. It was one of Ljunganissjön's drains. A legend about the place is that a shack from Ruvallen's shack wall disappeared during the 17th century. Another is that a Sami woman named Eva perished during a snowstorm.
