What Is the National Council of Dementia Minds? Our Host, Lori La Bey will be talking with guests who are the board of directors and executive director of the National Council of Dementia Minds. They are all international speakers, relentless dementia advocates, and consultants. The National Council of Dementia Minds is proud to be the first national nonprofit organization governed by persons living with dementia.

Bonnie Erickson is the Board President and a former program analyst for the Department of Homeland Security. Bonnie was diagnosed with White Matter Disease and Vascular Dementia in 2017.

Brian LeBlanc is the Board Vice President and is a former marketing and public relations executive. Brian was diagnoses with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2014 later Brian was diagnosed with White Matter disease and Vascular Dementia.

Steven Barbieri serves as the Board Treasurer and former VP and District Manager for Wells Fargo. Steven was diagnosed with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) in 2011.

Mark Roberts serves as the Board Secretary and is a former skilled tradesman. Mark was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2014.

Brenda Roberts serves as the Executive Director.
